Increasing African American and urban voter registration, education, and participation through outreach to targeted communities in California. We've registered over 200,000 voters and counting since 2002!
What a rally! On Saturday, November 3 the African American Voter REP Project held a Get Out The Vote in Los Angeles.
Check out our great photos and video from the event.
Joining AAVREP in firing folks up to vote in Tuesday’s election were:
Pasadena City Councilmember Jacque Robinson, Senator Curren Price Assemblymember Holly MItchell, SEIU-ULTCW PResident Laphonza Butler, Gardena City Councilmember & Teacher Rachel Johnson, LA City Council President Herb Wesson and LA County Supervisor Mark Ridley-Thomas.
Everyone left the rally fired up and ready to vote! Especially Yes on Prop 30 & No on Prop 32!
