Juneteenth: Buy Tickets Now!

You are invited to join African American Voter Registration Participation founder, Honorable Mark Ridley-Thomas, as we host the 13th Annual Juneteenth Celebration, commemorating the 50th Anniversary of the 1964 Civil Rights Act.

We are thrilled to announce this year’s entertainment line up, the First Daughter of Soul, contemporary R&B and Jazz and Grammy Award winning artist Lalah Hathaway and Jazz Legend, Barbara Morrison.

As you know, AAVREP provides critical voter education programming and outreach to communities of color throughout Los Angeles County. In keeping with the Juneteenth tradition of promoting and cultivating knowledge of African American history and culture, the month of June is when AAVREP lays the foundation for our election related programming and activities for the year. The 13th Annual Juneteenth Celebration is our principal fundraiser that will enable us to continue such important work.

We hope you will be able to join us this year.

If you’re interested in purchasing a ticket or becoming a sponsor, please contact Nicole Ward at 213-605-5471 or Please spread the word about this important event.
